Women's Weekend Fund Raising

Hi there, 
Hope you had a wonderful summer.  We had about 2 weeks of summer weather..these last 2 weeks!!  ANyway, it wasn't too hot for riding this summer, so I am not complaining about that. Seemed it was either too wet or too dry depending on where you live. 
We just had our Women's Wild West Weekend this last weekend.  What a great time!  We had our auction table with all the proceeds going to PFTC.  This year we raised 85.00 for the club! I think thats great considering all the items are donated & there were 14 women attending. 

There is talk about using some of our club money for a group trail ride "somewhere" next summer, or we can continue to raise money and decide at a later date how to spend it.  We also are thinking about using some of it in support of the Gaited Clinic & Show at Kurts in Winnipeg, which has become an annual event on the May long weekend.  Dianne Little comes to do a clinic & there is a fun show day as well. 

Thanks Nancy for also paying your 2010 membership already during this weekend.  So I have deposited 95.00 into the PFTC account today in total.
